Jane and I met yesterday with my oncologist to review the results of my latest PETScan. I had my first scan on March 1st, two weeks after my diagnosis. I imagine these doctors don’t get to share good news often enough. It seemed like he cured his first patient, he was that thrilled with the results. Not only did the latest scan reveal the complete remission of all of my tumors (over two dozen), the healing occurred much faster than any he has known–complete remission within less than three months with only three infusions of Keytruda.

I was also pleased that he validated my so called “alternative treatment”, that it was probably responsible for the rapid remission. At any rate, because there is likely small traces of cancer that didn’t get picked up by the scan, he encouraged me to continue with both the Keytruda and the alternative options I have used thus far.

Our doctor was so excited that he invited me to take a picture of the scans side by side. As you can see, there is no trace. The bright yellow / white objects in the left-hand scan are the tumors. Notice that there is no trace of the yellow / white masses (red areas are not cancerous) in the adjacent scan. The white areas in both scans are the brain, heart and badder, so these areas are normal.
